Mikhail Yur'evich Ninvit

M.Y Ninvit is in the area for the first time and used to work at another herd. He explains that now they move along the route of summer pastures. He says that it is important for the reindeer to put on fat for the winter, for which they now need enough water to drink. He points out that you have to be careful that no bears get in your way, because they fish now in the river. He says they shouldn't bother us, and we won't bother them either. Between autumn and spring wolves drive the reindeer, in summer they disturb them less. He emphasizes that now is the time to make sure that the reindeer do not get sick, so that we can get along without injections if possible. Because just now the time of hoof disease begins, and they have just received medication. M.Y. Ninvit shows how the reindeer now rest on the small snow patches where it is cooler. When there is no snow around, they do so in damp cool places.
